The right pillows and cushions (or lack of) make a big difference when styling and showcasing a bedroom. Being the biggest furniture piece in the bedroom, your bed and how you style and set it up will set the tone and the overall look of the room. After all, pillows are the ultimate finishing touch on a well-made bed.

Use these diagrams as guides on how to properly layer your bed for a more finished and professional look. For a more interesting look, you can inject some patterns through cushions and texture by combining different fabric cushions to bring in richness and better visual impact.

There are many ways to arrange your pillows, some more formal than others. You can stack, prop, mix sizes, add decorative shapes, or go symmetrical depending on the look that you want to achieve. Here’s my tip, use coordinating colours and patterns to a create texture and better visual impact!
